The DataSource component allows to comfortably create a connection to a database. You can find it in the .NET SQL properties of reporting component List & Label.

2. Plug ...
In the main component's SmartTag selection the datasource is immediately available. One click will do to integrate the component.

3. ... and Play!
You can start the designer directly from your development environment via the link in SmartTag to make use of the preview and print options. It couldn't be any easier - even for first-time users!
