Language kits equip the Designer with many foreign languages.

Language kits enable you to switch between multiple languages in the Designer. This ensures your application is suitable for multilingual teams and international markets. The launch date for each kit depends on the release cycles and collaboration with partners. All available language kits are included in the Enterprise edition. Plus, they can be purchased as an add-on for the Standard and Professional editions. If you can’t find the language you’re looking for, please feel free to contact us.

Unicode support enables you to design and output/export items containing a mixture of character sets.

Unicode

Unicode support enables you to design and output/export items containing a mixture of character sets.

Localization of Project Files

Projects are initially set up in one language, and then welcome each user in their own language. To make this possible, a dictionary is transferred for each language via the API. Alternatively, customers can activate dictionaries or translation tables that they are already using. For example, users in the US see the field name "ProductName", while users in Germany see the same field name labeled as "Produktname" – for the same project file. This works even if the project file is edited in Germany, saved, and then sent on to the US – the project file only uses language-independent abbreviations or the English names.
