The Reporting Tool for Special Wishes
More space for much individualism through more customizing opportunities with combit's new List & Label 10
From December on, combit will introduce a new release of the reporting component List & Label. During the development of List & Label 10, combit focused on the following main points: the entirely revised PDF export, the even easier to use real-data preview, projects including other projects, more customizing possibilities by embedding own objects and functions, as well as the new object to generate forms. The new PDF export offers great quality improvements as well as the possibility to encrypt files and embed fonts. It is now possible to export directly from the Preview to various export formats, such as PDF, picture and text formats. The VCL-component can be integrated easier into own programs and offers an Inplace-RTF-editor. With this feature, formatted text can be quickly processed and the own application easily enhanced by an impressive feature - according to combit. Furthermore, the integrated inplace preview control is available within the .NET component, too. There is now an option to insert own objects to the List & Label Designer, as for example statistical features, calculation of interest as well as graphic controls or special diagram types. The new object to generate forms renders reports that contain form fields. The user completes forms in one of the Preview controls, for example order forms or questionnaires. combit's List & Label now offers a new highly requested feature: the Datamatrix barcode. The advantage of this barcode is its ability to code all characters and to save a maximum of information on little space with high defect tolerance.
