Speedy Reporting for .NET with Delphi 8
New adaptation for Report Generator List & Label to support Borland's Delphi™ 8 for .NET
combit has introduced support for Borland's Delphi™ 8 for the Microsoft® .NET framework to its report generator List & Label 10 which has recently been released. The .NET component which is integrated into List & Label, as well as a couple of examples were adapted to the newest alternative development environment for .NET. Due to this adaptation List & Label can be integrated into projects with the new Delphi 8 for .NET, so that combit customers should be able to further use their existing List & Label know-how as well with Delphi.NET. Therefore the flexible reporting tool can also be used by developers who do not wish to completely bind themselves to Microsoft products and strategies.
For combit as a Borland Technology and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET partner, the .NET technology has always played an important role in the development of List & Label. The reporting tool has been up-to-date right from the beginning, was continuously developed and adapted to the .NET framework. combit has been confirmed in its openess towards the new technology by current market developments as well as the positive feedback of numerous users. With the complete databinding functionality .NET data objects are quickly included in reports. A more detailed description of working with List & Label in the .NET framework can be found on the producer's Website. A fully functioning trial version is available for download, already including new examples for Delphi 8 for .NET.
Both, Standard and Professional Edition of List & Label 10, can be used with all programming languages. With the Professional Edition the Designer can be passed on to the end user, a Webserver-license and additional modules (such as Unicode) are already included. The Standard Edition runs from Euro 399 / USD 508 and the Professional Edition from Euro 649 / USD 827. (Based upon exchange rates from January 13, 2003. Exchange rates may vary which could cause a change in the USD price.)
